“Sometimes we give love to the wrong person, and we sit there and wonder, “how could I have given love to that person? They don’t even deserve it,” or “what a waste of time.” But the thing is, you shouldn’t think about it that way. You should think of the fact that you were able to give love, because if you are able to give it, that means you have it inside of you. It means that that is what makes you. And it’s the same thing with everything else. It’s the same thing with kindness, with honesty, with your ability to care about people. That shows who you are. Don’t focus on the way that people abuse that. Don’t focus on the way that people react to that. Focus on the fact that you have it within you, and that it makes you who you are. It makes you a beautiful person, a beautiful human being. So, before you sit there and say, “I wish I didn’t give love”, “I wish I didn’t give kindness”, “I wish I wasn’t honest”, be careful what you’re wishing for.”
David Nelly Seyki Offei Ampofo is a Ghanian by birth, who fell in love with writing from a young age.
He is has been a film nerd for as long as he could remember. He decided to take it up professionally in the year 2020 during the pandemic.
He started working as a journalist at the age of seventeen by mere chance because of undercover work that was needed to be done by one great media person in his country (name withheld for security reasons) he worked with him for three years and found love with the world of media so he took it as a career and worked with Tv3, later left for Prevas, and moved to Green TV until he decided to take a break for education.
The level of dark places of life led him into writing as early as when he could read and write and was using it for fun till the year 2007 when he wrote his first-ever book which was a short story titled "Dreamless Ramble" but this book was met with many challenges that along the lines he had to back from it.
Writing somehow eluded him till he met a community that inspired him to start writing again in the year 2017 and through that community, he met this amazing family and a place he now calls home— Earnest Writes Community in the year 2019.
Not to talk too long he is an Entrepreneur, Writer, Motivational Speaker, Content Developer, Student Journalist, Life Coach, Philanthropist, Idealist as well as a Philosopher.
